On November 15 at 17:00 (Moscow time), an award ceremony for the best digital projects in the field of culture will be held on the official website: https://culturaonline.ru.
The purpose of the Culture Online award is to encourage cultural institutions that actively implement online technologies in their work, as well as significant projects in the cultural field, carried out with the help of the most modern IT resources.
319 applications were submitted, and participants from 53 regions of Russia as well as Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Switzerland shared successful implementations of online technologies. 35 projects made it to the finals.
The Best Online Project category will feature a prominent music, theater, or movie industry project. The Best Collaboration is an opportunity to showcase an online cultural project implemented by two or more companies. The experts will pick the worthiest project, implemented with the help of informational technologies in the Best IT solution for the cultural field category. Blogs about art and culture can be nominated for the Best Social Media Campaign 2022. An important role belongs to the Best Education and Outreach Project, where an online educational project can be nominated. A candidate for the nomination Best Online Broadcast award can be a project whose participants enable the user to become a spectator of a cultural event in real time. The Cultural Gamification category will feature the best mobile app or video game related to culture.
The Expert Council decided this year to add a nomination Special Jury Prize: For Devotion to Culture. It will be awarded to a project demonstrating why it is vital to keep the link between generations and to cherish the heritage of the past creators. Also, during the award ceremony, the winner of the nomination Special Prize of the Russian Culture Foundation for creativity and innovativeness in outreach activities will be announced.
