Mobile Arts Theater is a mobile app which offers audio plays where the story sets in the listener's imagination and blends into the surrounding environment. A unique route is developed for each play, and an ordinary walk turns into an exciting adventure.
The repertoire of the Mobile Arts Theater has audio plays for both adults and children. Mobile phone and headphones that's all you need. Starting time is established by the listener himself. Mobile Arts Theater plays are created by professional play writers, feature the best composers and sound engineers and voices of professional theater and film actors. Project aims at making the art of the theater up-to-date, understandable and easily accessible by the widest possible audience, even those who usually do not go to the theater. It brings theater to the digital world and digital world - to the theater. Surround-sound technology and a route map accurately synchronized with the audio tracks allow listener to picture the play scenery before his eyes and in his imagination: streets and houses around become the scene of the play and come to life in listener's imagination, while sounds in his headphones additionally help him to pore over a plot.
Since 2021, the Mobile Arts Theater has also been producing AR plays - performances using augmented reality objects. This is innovative both for the arts and for the hi-tech world: previously, AR technologies have been used in games and technical apps only but have never been fully-engaged in theater plays. Plays are available either for free or at a low price, which makes theater accessible to a widest audience. Digital technologies make people who are passionate about technology, but who have not previously been interested in theater and arts, turn to the world of theater. Smartphone with any operating system is enough to listen to an audio play. After installing the free app, user has to register, select the play of his interest, pay or download it for free and press the Play button. Audio instructions will be then given along with the route starting point and the play will begin.
