The IV International Classical Music Festival "Cantata" is a remarkable cultural event held annually in historically rich locations across Kaliningrad Oblast.

The festival offers visitors an opportunity to enjoy high art amidst ancient ruins of churches, castles, forts, and other sites with majestic histories. In its fourth season, "Cantata" enriched these spaces with classical music concerts while expanding cultural routes for the region's residents and guests. The project contributes to historical heritage revival through ticket sales proceeds and educational potential development by offering opportunities to engage in significant cultural events. The festival highlighted notable anniversaries such as Immanuel Kant's 300th birthday and Nikolai Berdyaev's 150th anniversary. The 2024 lineup included stars from Moscow's Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Academic Musical Theatre, like People's Artist of Russia Felix Korobov, soloist Natalia Petrozhitskaya, Mariinsky Theatre artists, and leading conductor Christian Knapp, who added uniqueness to the festival. This year's "Cantata" program enhanced its educational focus by adding 14 master classes, 12 film screenings, and 12 lectures in Kaliningrad for meetings with renowned artists and music historians.
