In 2021, the Museum of the History of Kronstadt, the Rif Fort, the State Museum of Political History of Russia, the Military Medical Museum and the Russian Museum introduced the exhibition project "Ice of Kronstadt".

The "Kronstadt tragedy" turned 100 years in March 2021. Events of March 1921 in Kronstadt make one of the most dramatic pages of Russian history.

In 2021, the Kronstadt History Museum, along with the Rif Fort, the State Museum of Political History of Russia, the Military Medical Museum, the Russian Museum, introduced the exhibition project "Ice of Kronstadt" for the 100th anniversary of the Kronstadt Rebellion in the spring of 1921. Exhibitions dedicated to historical events in Kronstadt were prepared within the framework of the project. Exhibition "Kronstadt Rebellion. March 1921" was dedicated to dramatic events of the "Kronstadt rebellion. The Life and Fate of the Lamanov Family exhibition is dedicated to the participants of the events of March 1921 - Peter and Anatoly Lamanov, residents of Kronstadt.

Youth Threw Us On the Ice of Kronstadt... is a joint work of the Museum of the History of Kronstadt and the Rif Fort. Installations of the project provide for the full immersion into the atmosphere of the events of 1921. Exhibition gives a philosophical view of the events and tells about the situation in the country on the eve of 1921, indirect causes of the tragedy and hostilities of the both sides. Exhibition visitors can also attend special premises of the officer barracks of the Fort Rif. The Fort was not chosen for the exhibition by chance. It was here that the rebellion culminated - in 1921, participants of the Kronstadt Tragedy were leaving for Finland from the Fort Rif. Large-scale project is now available as a virtual exhibition on the social networks of the Kronstadt History Museum.
