The project is aimed at promoting reading and increasing the population’s information culture through implementation of information and communication technologies.

Application of new technologies and tools that create conditions for the population’s active inclusion in the processes of intensive, creative reading, critical comprehension of the text read, its analysis and evaluation, use of the information obtained in course of solving various educational and extracurricular problems.

Currently, digital technologies act in any territory as the most significant means of ensuring people’s access to cultural values. We want to ensure involvement of representatives of different generations in the cultural life, combining the value preferences of the older (reading, book) and the younger (Internet surfing) generations. To do this, it is necessary to update the system of libraries in social networks.
