Every Wednesday, the staff of the National Library prepares a post about an interesting novelty from the book world for subscribers of Mordovia TeleSet community on VK.
One of the central goals of the Pushkin Library of the Republic of Mordovia is to instill interest in reading and increase public outreach of good books. Librarians of the Department of External Communications and Socio-Cultural Activities conducted a study of the local VK communities and found that one of the most popular, dynamically growing and engaged audiences is the community of TeleSet Mordovia TV channel.
"Book Wednesday" online project was organized together with administration of the VK community. Every Wednesday librarians of various departments of the Pushkin Library tell the subscribers of the 10th channel about an interesting book from the library collection. Every story invites to borrow books from Pushkinka and offers the library’s contact details. All published posts are available by hashtag #книжнаясреда.
