On the opening evening of the concert series, the audience enjoyed a cantata, “Alexander Nevsky,” a work by Sergei Prokofiev.

The next event covered historical eras from Dmitry Donskoy to Peter the Great, including the Time of Troubles and the reign of Ivan the Terrible. Excerpts from the oratorio “Ivan the Terrible” by the same composer were presented, as well as works by Rachmaninoff, fragments of the operas “Prince Igor,” “Life for the Tsar,” “Mazepa,” and “Khovanshchina,” and works by Tchaikovsky and Sviridov. The third concert offered the audience a grand musical retrospective on the Patriotic War of 1812, the Crimean, Russo-Japanese and Civil Wars, including Tchaikovsky's “1812” Tchaikovsky, Alexander Petrov's “Pushkin” symphony, and works by Sviridov. The fourth concert series focused on the music of World War II. The fifth concert was marked by the performance of the musical and poetic composition "Russia, Rus, Protect Yourself, Protect!", created based on the works of renowned Russian composers and poets.
