The Kronstadt Palace of Culture presents the online program "The Muses were not silent ...". The program is dedicated to the feat of cultural and artistic figures during the siege of Leningrad.

The online concert was created for the 77th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade. There is an old saying: "When the cannons speak, the muses fall silent." During the Great Patriotic War, this judgment was completely refuted. The muses did not fall silent then: on the contrary, they became the most powerful weapon against enemies.

The feat of cultural workers of blockaded Leningrad has become one of the symbols of courage and steadfastness of its defenders. The program presents unique documentary material and video clips from wartime concerts.
