A series of monthly events dedicated to various aspects and problems of operation and modernization of the system of Culture Houses and Palaces in Russia.

The DK-XXI: Culture, Education, Development Program is dedicated to the current state of Culture Houses and Palaces in Russia, and prospects for their modernization, for the purpose of creating the system of modern cultural and educational centers with developed socio-cultural functions, which may become key elements of the emerging Russian creative economy. The DK-XXI: Culture, Education, Development Program is organized in framework of the project “Identity in the Standard” in strategic partnership with the CENTRE Agency for Strategic Development and the Union of Moscow Architects, with the support of the Foundation for Presidential Grants.

Reviewing current problems and challenges facing the DK, presenting successful projects and programs designed for different audiences, discussing formats for working with the architectural heritage of the 20th century, methods of sociocultural programming, ways of achieving economic efficiency and building new brands based on local identity – each event of the DK-XXI Program was focused on one topic, regarding it from different points. From February to August 2021, 8 online events were held, and two more events took place offline, they were videotaped and added to the media archive of the Program on its YouTube channel.
