Now it has become easier to travel and explore the sights of Russia thanks to the podcast series “Travel Around Russia” prepared by Kultura.RF and Zvuk audio service. You can lay a route and learn the most important things about location of different natural objects in the maps.

Kultura.RF portal tells about the amazing natural sights of the country: from the Far Eastern Commander Islands to the Curonian Spit on the Baltic Sea. “Place on the Map” cycle contains data on natural landmarks and their geological features, animals and plants of the unique territories, as well as myths and legends related to these places.

Currently available are the guides on Bolshoe Bogdo Mountain, Klyuchevskaya Sopka Volcano, a separate guide to the Valley of Geysers in Kamchatka and the Putorana Plateau, the Altai State Biosphere Reserve and, last but not least, Lake Baikal. Kultura.RF is a humanitarian educational project dedicated to culture of Russia, which tells about interesting and significant events and people in the history of literature, architecture, music, cinema, theatre, as well as folk traditions and natural landmarks. All materials are available to portal users free of charge. Portal curator is the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
