Chamber music project in a loft with video installation and moderated format.

Loft Philharmonic is chamber music project in a loft with video installation and moderated format. Music outreach project features concerts of academic music in a modern space. The venue for the concerts is the loft-style construction hall of the ZIL Cultural Centre, equipped with professional sound and lighting equipment, as well as a mobile screen.
Video installations of the best world’s music halls displayed on the screen allow viewers to virtually visit them during the concerts. The role of the host is nullified while the musicians act as performers and moderators at the same time. The notion of the «philharmonic» emerges as an allusion to the oldest type of concert organization with its rich history, continuity of generations of musicians, and high level of performance.
The project participants are graduates and teachers of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, stars of the Russian performing art. Essence of the project is educating the audience, promoting chamber music, creating a year-round season of chamber instrumental music in the Southern Administrative District of Moscow; creating a performance platform for young musicians – graduates of the Moscow Conservatory and leading conservatories of Russia. The project has been operating offline since September 2016, and has been transferred online since October 2020. At the moment, the project has begun its Sixth Season, which is held both online and offline simultaneously.
