It contains methodological materials for educational program developers, tutors and educators, news about major events in the art education system, calendar of Russian and international creative contests, regulatory documents and recommendations for their application and much more. One of the main tasks of the center is informational, organizational and methodological support of children's art schools, professional educational institutions and culture and arts universities.
Center also monitors regional art education systems and implementation of specialized federal projects, coordinates interaction between educational institutions of the cultural sector and regional methodological services. It provides conditions and techniques for identifying, maintaining and supporting children and youngsters gifted in the field of arts.
