ART MANAGEMENT OF THE MASTERS SCHOOL

The course includes subjects on project management in the field of culture, lectures on the history of art of the 20th-21st centuries, meetings with specialists of the art industry.

The «Art Management» educational program is intended to last one school year and includes subjects on project management in the field of culture, lecture courses on the history of art of the 20th-21st centuries, as well as meetings with leading specialists of the art industry.
The program is aimed at mastering the main strategies of art project promotion, getting to know the mechanisms of the modern art market, introduction to the leading global and Russian institutions of the art market (key exhibitions, fairs, biennales, and auctions) and getting practical experience in implementation of one’s own projects.
The goal of the project is to train management specialists in the field of arts. The objectives of the project are to teach the students: 1. To analyze the art of 20th-21st centuries and the processes of the modern art market; 2. To describe, promote and develop their own cultural projects; 3. To plan the budget and PR-strategy, to look for partners for the project; 4. To assess the artistic and investment appeal of art works.
